Nigerian superstar Davido has rendered an apology to a music blog after he “read wrong” into a tweet regarding his collaboration with R&B artiste Chris Brown on ‘Blow My Mind.’
Music website TooXclusive shared a fun fact on its Twitter page on Monday, stating that Chris Brown paid for the music video for Davido’s Blow My Mind in which he was featured.
“Fun Fact: Did you know that Chris Brown paid for Davido’s Blow My Mind Video,” it read.
However, Davido appears to have misinterpreted the tweet as saying he had paid for the video instead and immediately went off on them.
He even went further to warn the website not to publish his music on their platform in outrage
But after a sober reflection, Davido noticed he had goofed in his reaction to the tweet by TooXclusive and tendered an apology to the blog.
“Lmao @tooXclusive_com I read it wrong my bad!! I think say u talk say I pay an !! Me sef,” he tweeted.
Shortly after the apology, handlers of the music blog’s Twitter account acknowledge that they actually wished him positive things in his music career.
In a reaction, it said: “OBO, it’s all love”.
