Cleric urges FG to create special courts on corruption


The Supreme Head of the Cherubim and Seraphim C& S Unification Church of Nigeria, Prophet Dr. Solomon Alao yesterday, urged the Federal Government to create special courts devoid of endless adornments, where private or public office holders alleged to have looted the nation would be tried.

He also called on religious, traditional and political leaders to join the present administration in its campaign against corruption, by rebuking their subjects through every available means.

The cleric who gave the assertion during the church’s 2016 annual general conference with the theme ‘ 90 year after : Whither the C& S church, stated that better measures , other than the option of sending suspected looters to jail should be put in place in order to recover public looted funds.

He however, advised that political colouration should be avoided by the present administration in its fight against corruption, appealing also that trail of suspected looters should be handled with human face.
