A Nigerian father has lamented over the outrageous increase in price of baby food as he opted to feed his 5-month-old son a traditional Nigerian dish made from cassava, ‘Eba’.
In a video making the rounds online, the man expressed his pain as he revealed that popular baby food brand; Cerelac and SME gold, have skyrocketed to N12,000 and N25,000 respectively.
Sharing the 14 tins of Cerelac and 7 tins of SME gold his little son has already taken, he joking said that he will resort to feeding his kid morsels of Eba, stating that his food is becoming unaffordable.
In his words partly, “As from tomorrow, you go start to eat eba”.
