Grammy award-winning musician Damini Ogulu Ebunoluwa, popularly known as Burna Boy, has reacted following singer Speed Darlington’s rearrest in Owerri, Imo State.
Recall that human rights lawyer Deji Adeyanju confirmed the second arrest of Speed Darlington aka Akpi on his X handle on Wednesday afternoon. He revealed that the singer was apprehended during his recent show.
It is worth noting that Speed Darlington has been involved in a controversy with Burna Boy over his provocative comments regarding Burna Boy’s Grammy win, as well as his connections with troubled American rapper, Diddy Combs. This led to his first arrest.
Deji Adeyanju accused Burna of using Nigerian police to harass Speed Darlington, tagging the ‘Higher’ Crooner as an oppressor.
However, Burna Boy, who chose to remain silent on Speed Darlington’s second arrest, took to his Instagram story as he hinted on his plans ahead of the festive period in December.
He displayed bundles of cash in foreign currency and wrote in a caption, “This Onwa Dezemba na bundle by bundle. If no be bundle hide am.”
