Burna Boy is NOT worthy to win a Grammy Award – Wizkid fan states 2 valid reasons why

Competition makes things get too much complicated, and at this point it doesn’t even matter if the persons involved are from same region or territory as a Wizkid fan has claimed that Nigerian music artiste Burna Boy doesn’t deserve to win a Grammy Award at the 2020 awards ceremony.

Recall that Burna Boy was nominated for this year’s Grammy Awards in the ‘Best World Music Album’ category and many Nigerians had shown expectations that he should win it for the first time in his music career. But it seems not everyone was quite enthusiastic about his chances of winning afterall, as a Wizkid fan has just stated two (2) basic reasons why he strongly thinks the ‘Anybody’ crooner is NOT worthy of claiming the biggest accolade of his life yet.

According to the staunch member of the ‘Wizkid FC’ (large fanbase of the Starboy label boss), he thinks Wizkid would have been a more deserving nominee & winner of the international album category only if Wizzy had released an album not an EP in 2019. And considering that Burna Boy isn’t as popular and has not achieved much to the level of Wizkid status, the ‘African Giant’ album isn’t worthy.

Second, the fan believes it was the influence of UK female rapper Stefflon Don that made Burna Boy’s GRAMMY nomination possible, and NOT his music as some of his fans would make people perceive. That his ‘lovey-dovey’ with the delectable babe was to penetrate the international music market which he eventually achieved thus earning him his biggest award nomination ever. So it wasn’t down to his ‘good music’ instead it was the lady’s brand value that was exploited in their so-called ‘romance‘.

In my opinion though, for what is worth, some people might want to think that this fan is just a fanatic of Wizkid but he sure raised a few legit thought-provoking points in his notions, especially the second reason stating Stefflon Don’s influence on his breakthrough internationally.
