President Muhammadu Buhari will make a national broadcast on Sunday, May 28, 2023, at 7am.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), Femi Adesina, on Saturday.
He said; “President Muhammadu Buhari will make a farewell broadcast as President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces on Sunday, May 28, at 7 am.
“Television, radio stations and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast.”
Meanwhile, Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be sworn in as the country’s 16th president on Monday, May 29, 2023.

The event which will be held at the Eagle Sqaure in Abuja will have over 64 head of states in attendance.
