BREAKING: Covid-19: We can’t stay at home, says Lagos residents

Lagosians have decided to disobey the stay at home order given by president Muhammadu Buhari to stop the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic in the country.

“The order which took effect today, Tuesday, 31 March, 2020 affected Lagos, Ogun and the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.”

President Buhari who addressed Nigerians out of the country on Sunday, 7pm local time said the order will be effective for 14days and he urged all Nigerians to obey and stay in doors.

Our correspondent learnt that Lagos residents were seen going out for their various businesses, while some youths were seen playing football on the road.

However, the state governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has promised to support residents by providing foods and money until the stay at home exercise is over.

Speaking with TONTRENDS, the governor said he has gotten his Covid-19 test result which he is tested positive of the deadly Coronavirus disease

“We investigated and gathered that at this crucial time the Nigerian president and his family had earlier flee to Cuba for better treatment.”
