The spokesperson of the Lagos state police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, has denied claims that ASP Drambi Vandi, who is allegedly responsible for the shooting of pregnant Lagos lawyer, Bolanle Raheem, has been released from detention.
He gave the clarification via his Twitter handle this morning, December 29. He also stated that the two officers arrested alongside Vandi have been released as investigations showed that they had no hand in the shooting incident.

”ASP Drambi Vandi is still in detention! Investigation has shown that the other two officers with him had no hand in the shooting incident. They have, therefore, been released. Claims that the officer responsible for the shooting has been released is totally false.”
