Big Brother Naija ‘All Stars’ housemate, Seyi Awolowo has expressed regret over his recent insensitive comment, saying he is certain it would make him lose brand deals.
He stated this on the heels of getting feedback to the ‘misogynistic’ comment he made about encouraging his male kids to engage in explicit social vices.
His controversial statement sparked an outrage on social media with many berating the housemate for talking about kids in such manner.
During a conversation with Venita in the garden, Seyi said he had been informed that the country was angry at him and he knows that brands will distance cut ties and refuse to give him ambassadorial deal.
The actor also declared that he is one of the six people holding the show together as stated by Ebuka, and he could possibly be the number one in that category
He said: “Even you [Venita] sef will be angry for a couple of minutes or an hour or a day, but I cannot blame anybody for being angry because what I said was disgusting. As in the kind of thing that I know that a number of brands are not going to work with me.
The country is angry with me. I can’t even imagine the damage control that my team will be going through now. So I am technically, one of the six people holding the show.”
