A Nigerian man has shared his surprising encounter with his secondary school further maths teacher, who is now working as an Okada (motorcycle) rider.
The man, who had long since completed his secondary education, took to his TikTok handle, @Kyle 231, where he shared a video showing the moment he met his former educator in such an unconventional setting.
In the video, he was left in shock when he boarded an Okada and realized his rider was none other than his old Further Mathematics teacher.
The clip showed the moment the man exchanged pleasantries with his former teacher after dropping him off at his destination. He expressed how happy he was to see his teacher again, with a bright smile on his face.
He reached into his pocket to pay the Okada rider for the fare. When the rider, who turned out to be his former Further Maths teacher, saw the amount, he realized he had been paid more than the fare. He immediately tried to return the extra money, but the man refused, explaining that he had intentionally added more cash as a gesture of kindness.
The video of the Nigerian man and his former further maths academician took the internet by storm as social media users flooded the comment section to share their thoughts. Some reactions are shown below:
