The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Francis Nwifuru has been declared as the winner of the March 18 poll in Ebonyi State, by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Nwifuru, who is the Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly polled 199,131 votes to defeat his closest rival, Ifeanyi Odii of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who polled 80,191 votes.
Ben Odo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) polled 52,189 votes.
