Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, speaks on the growing global influence of afrobeats music.

During a panel discussion with the US Advisory Council on Africa Diaspora Engagement and Nigerian creative industry leaders, Davido noted that afrobeats artists have achieved significant growth, matching the ticket sales of prominent pop and hip-hop stars like Drake.

He emphasized the potential for big earnings from a single afrobeats track, which can have a lasting impact on an artist’s financial future and even lead to generational wealth.

“Afrobeats Artists are selling the same tickets as Drake. Now one song as an afrobeat artist can change your generation,” he said.

Davido encouraged young artists to focus on collaborations with themselves rather than seeking international features.

He highlighted the value of working together with fellow artists, stating that they can produce their best work and contribute to the continued growth of the afrobeats genre.

In another news, Tiwa Savage flaunts her love for Davido’s music in fresh clip amid beef with him over Sophia Momodu.

Just recently, a jaw-dropping video surfaced on media personality Toke Makinwa’s Instagram story, capturing an unforgettable night out with her close friend, Tiwa Savage.

During their lively girls’ outing, the duo was spotted living it up at a nightclub, painting the town red with their infectious energy and carefree vibes.

In the clip, Tiwa Savage, known for her vibrant personality, was in her element, dancing the night away with unrestrained joy and enthusiasm.

The undeniable highlight of the night came when Davido’s chart-topping hit “Away” blasted through the speakers. Tiwa, without missing a beat, erupted into an ecstatic dance, her face beaming with pure delight as she passionately sang along to every word.

Her spirited performance left no doubt that any rumored feud with the OBO Crooner was water under the bridge.
