The Baroka FC have secured a three-year deal for Malawi international striker Richard Mbulu who made an immediate impact on local audiences on Sunday.
Mbulu was on target for The Flames in their 3-0 victory over Seychelles in the Cosafa Cup in Durban, and put in a lively all-round performance.
Baroka had days earlier confirmed they have signed him from Mozambican side CD Costa do Sol, where he has been previously plying his trade.
The 25-year-old played for Mafco FC in Malawi, but also had a brief spell with Portuguese lower league side Sanjoanense, where South African youngster Kobamelo Kodisang played this past season.
Mbulu scored Malawi’s second goal on Sunday after being set up by Bidvest Wits forward Gabadinho Mhango.
