”I will not engage in public debates” – Mohbad’s wife Wunmi breaks silence after sister accuses her of involving in late singer’s death

Wunmi, wife of late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has reacted to the grievous accusations made against by her sister Karimo over the tragic passing of Mohbad.

Since the singer’s death, numerous mysteries have emerged from all directions, shedding more light on the circumstances surrounding his passing.

Recently, Wunmi’s sister who has always defend her however made a U-turn as she accused Wunmi of involving in Mohbad’s death. According to Karimo, Mohbad and his wife had a serious fight on the day the singer died.

Amongst others, she had opined that Wunmi stole Mohbad’s phone from his mother and has refused to release it.

In response to Karimo’s allegations, Wunmi threatened to drag Karimo to court, stating that she will not defend her truth on the social media space.

She added that those who hold her late husband dear shouldn’t let anything tarnish his memories.

Taking to her Instagram story, she wrote, ““I want to express my deepest gratitude to each of you for standing by me during this difficult time. As many of you know, I have endured a great deal of despicable and false accusations from various quarters—family, friends, and even strangers.

“Despite the pain, I have chosen to accept this unfortunate situation as a port of my journey. I want to make it clear that | will not engage in public debates or attempt to counter the lies being spread about me. My focus will be on defending my truth in the court of law, not on social media. However, I must speak up on behalf of Ilerioluwa, who is no longer here to defend himself.”

“Friend of mine and Liam’s, to refrain from speaking ill of my husband. I beg you, with all that you hold dear, not to tarnish his memory. Disrespecting llerioluwa in his deQth is showing disdain for his entire family. Anyone who truly loved him would never speak badly of him”.
