Nigerian rap sensation, Emeka Akumefule better known as Blaqbonez, has advised young people hustling hard never to give up on their dreams or determination to succeed.
The ‘Back In Uni’ crooner gave the advice while reflecting on a throwback tweet of his from 2012, where he was pleading with American Hip Hop star, Kendrick Lamar to support him.
Blaqbonez was among the candidates in a poll for upcoming acts at the time and he wanted people to vote for him, but for it to get wider reach, he tagged Kendrick on Twitter.
He had written; “@kendricklamar on ma knees ☺ plsss start voting (blaqbonez) e be like say na me …here »» jonzing world*“
Revisiting the tweet after 12 years, Blaq quoted it and simply wrote; “Don’t give up.”
