Rising Nollywood actress, Sandra Ifudu, has lamented over a certain practice by her male colleagues that nobody talks about in the industry.
The thespian said the actors are known for kissing actresses passionately during a movie shoot and it is lacking in professionalism.
Ranting in a video making the rounds online, Ifudu shared her personal experiences of how she tries to do what is termed the ‘Nollywood kiss’ only for the men to force a ‘French’ kiss.
Ifudu demonstrated how a professional kiss should be executed on set, and also highlighted the health risks associated with swapping saliva without consent.
The actress urged her male colleagues to keep their lips closed during on-screen kisses instead of trying to force the woman to open her mouth and swap saliva.
She issued a stern warning to those fond of doing what she complained about and warned that she will take legal action for sexual assault if anyone disrespects her in such a manner again.
Ifudu said in part; “I am doing this video as an appeal to Nollywood actors, please we actresses are tired. When we have a kissing scene, you don’t have to kiss for real, you don’t have to stick out your tongues and put it in our mouths.”
