The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun has warned policemen in the country against soliciting for undeserved promotion.
Giving the warning while decorating newly promoted top officers of the Police Force held in Abuja on Friday, June 14, the police chief said some policemen go through highly placed personalities to make demands for promotion.
He stated that henceforth, any officer found wanting will be punished.
