Popular Nigerian singer, Fireboy DML has dismissed speculations of a music rivalry between him and his record label mate, Ahmed Ololade aka Asake.
The 28-year-old YBNL artiste said there is no competition between them or in the Olamide-owned label that they are signed to.
Fireboy cleared the air during an interview with Max FM, Lagos, while emphasising that there exists a harmonious working relationship between him, Asake and their label boss.
He said; “I don’t think there is any competition in YBNL because everyone is on a different lane. We could all drop our songs one week from each other and nobody would be angry. There’s genuine love.
“There’s genuine brotherhood among us. There was a day Olamide and Asake helped loosen my hair. That moment was a very solemn moment for me. There is no competition in YBNL.”
The singer also said that YBNL Nation and its artistes don’t get involved in industry brawls because their goal is to make money.
