Reality TV star, Natacha Akide, has insisted that it is only if the organisers of Big Brother Naija refuse pay her that she would agree to go participate in BBNaija All Stars.
Tacha said that she is a brand and she will not water down the brand by going back into the house to give Nigerians a show because nobody can do it like her.
The ‘Pepper Dem’ ex-housemate made the disclosure during her programme The Big Friday Show on Cool FM 96.9 FM, while explaining why she deserves to get paid to be on the show again.
Tacha reminsced on her participating in MTV’s The Challenge and revealed that she was getting paid thousands of dollars weekly just for being a participant.
She said that another reason she insists on monetizing her participation is because she might get disqualified before the show ends, and it would have been a waste if she did not get any money for it.
The reality star said; “What is airtime without entertainment? Just imagine the first two people that will be evicted from the show, what will people say. For me it’s all about business, if you are going to pay me then ‘Yes we would do’, but if you are not going to pay me I’m not going to water down my brand to give Nigerians a show.
It’s Big T now, we know nobody can do it like me. I was washing clothe on possibly eviction night, that I know will dry the next day because I now I am not going anywhere. Like I’ll literally give the hairstylist my wig to say bring it back next week Sunday, then I know how entertaining that kind of stuff can be because I mean personalities like this, you don’t really meet them on an everyday basis.
There’s even no question of if I am going to win it this time around because I fit go and get disqualified before the show go finish. So let it be that if you are getting evicted, you know you are getting evicted with money in your pocket.”
