Shehu Sani reacts to politicians using packet of spaghetti for vote buying

Former Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has warned Nigerians against collecting bribe to vote for politicians.

He warned that those collecting welfare packages, such as packets of spaghetti to vote for corrupt leaders responsible for their plight would live to suffer their decision for the next four years.

Recall that the Federal Government, alongside Central Bank of Nigeria, decided to change 1000, 500, and 200 Naira notes design to prevent vote-buying and sponsoring of violence during the recently held presidential and national assembly elections.

However, according to the tweet by Shehu Sani, some corrupt politicians have devised a sinister tactics to bypass the new Naira policy by offering voters packet of spaghetti to vote for their parties.

The tweet reads: “If you collect a packet of spaghetti in order to vote for your oppressors, keep the (Spaghetti) plastic wrap safely. Because it’s going to be your meal for the next four years.”
