Afrobeats sensation Ahmed Ololade professionally known as Asake officially confirms his exit from his former label YBNL owned by his boss rapper Olamide.
Asake made this exit known to all and sundry following his newly released song “Whine” featuring Brazilian singer Ludmilla as he replaced the YBNL logo with his own Logo.
Recall that in December 2024, Intel Region diaclosed that Asake reportedly part ways with Olamide YBNL as the singer yanks off YBNL from his Instagram bio and that was just the beginning.
Also, Asake unfollows his boss Olamide, and everyone on his official Instagram page. Asake was also noticeably absent at rapper Olamide’s star-studed concert in December 2024.
Meanwhile information also has it that Olamide peacefully allows Asake to terminate his contract and part ways with YBNL after they has amazing 2 years together, Recall that Olamide signed Asake in 2022 and within 2 years, Asake released 3 hit albums, shutdown 20k capacity 02 Arena twice, gather billions of streams and even becomes Grammy nominated artiste among other prominent achievements.
