We didn’t go to two hospitals, I caught Davido bribing doctor during Anu DNA test in 2014 – Mother of singer alleged daughter speaks

Ayo Labinjo, the mother of Anu Adeleke, who is alleged to be singer Davido’s daughter, has refuted the claims made by ex-lawyer Bobo Ajudua regarding the paternity test involving her child and Davido.

Anu Adeleke is a young Nigerian girl whose mother, Ayo Labinjo, asserts that she is the daughter of Nigerian singer Davido. This claim has sparked public debate since around 2018. However, Davido has consistently denied the paternity, with DNA tests conducted at two reputable clinics reportedly confirming that he is not Anu’s biological father.

In early January 2025, Anu shared a video online identifying herself as an Adeleke and thanking everyone for the support she received on her 11th birthday. In the video, she highlighted her academic accomplishments, including her role as Head Girl at her school, and spoke about her interests in singing, reading, and modeling.

Prince Bobo Ajudua, Davido’s former lawyer, responded to the video by reaffirming that DNA tests had conclusively determined Davido is not Anu’s father. He voiced concern over the ongoing public claims, calling them unfair to both the Adeleke family and Anu herself. According to him, the paternity test was conducted at two different hospitals.

However, Anu’s mom took to her daughter’s official Instagram page to share a press statement, contrary to what Bobo Ajudua claimed. She emphasized that her daughter is an Adeleke.

The mother of one claimed she caught the singer bribing the doctor assigned to conduct a DNA test to settle the lingering dispute over Anu’s paternity.

In her post, Ayotomide challenged Prince Bobo’s claims, accusing him of distorting the facts to safeguard Davido’s reputation. She stated that only one DNA test was ever conducted, which took place in a small, obscure clinic in 2014—without Prince Bobo being present.

She claimed that during the test, she and her family watched Davido hand money in a brown envelope to the doctor in charge, ‘Mr Wale Sobola’, allegedly manipulating the results to undermine Anu’s connection to the Adeleke lineage.

The statement reads, “This week, I introduced my daughter Mitchelle Anu Adeleke to Nigerians after a 6 year break on the instagram page built for her 5th birthday by Dr Kemi in 2018. To my shock I read several blog stories claiming that I had 2 DNA tests to establish Anuoluwapo’s paternity with Mr David Adeleke.”

“This false information was maliciously spread by his friend and former lawyer Bobo Ajudua who was neither present nor was employed by Mr Adeleke at the time in 2014. It has caused malicious bullying and disrespect to my person
and my daughter.”

“We did not go to two hospitals but a small clinic where my daughter’s blood was drawn in a private room not even a clinical lab setting and my family and I watched money change hands in a brown envelope between Mr David Adeleke and Mr Wale Sobola who disguised his name as “DrAlex”. Dr Kemi has consistently requested a second DNA test on my daughter’s behalf including chatting online with Bobo Ajudua late 2019 who declined on behalf of Mr David Adeleke.”

“To make up these vicious lies is below the belt. I do not seek validation from the Adeleke family or any form of support. I only need to establish my daughter’s PATERNITY. We have moved on and doing well with our lives. Special thanks to all Nigerians for the kind words to Anuoluwapo.”
