Afrobeats singer Tiwa Savage has shared her thoughts on the state of entertainment in Nigeria.

According to her, the country’s economic challenges are driving young people to explore their creative talents.

On the “Shopping The Sneakers” podcast, Tiwa discussed the difficulties of living in Nigeria and how it shapes the country’s entertainers.

She noted that the hardship in Nigeria fosters a strong work ethic and hustle mentality among artists.

Tiwa Savage emphasized that surviving in Nigeria is a significant accomplishment, and this resilience is reflected in the determination and talent of Nigerian artists.

She said:

“When you come to Nigeria, you will understand why we breed so many superstars. To survive in Nigeria is something else so that’s why the artists that come out of Nigeria are just like hustlers. They are just hustling.”

In another news, Tiwa Savage opens up on why she returned a Range Rover car birthday gift.

Tiwa Savage revealed that a Range Rover is the most expensive gift she has ever received.

The songstress shockingly disclosed that she also returned the gift despite how pricy it was.

According to Tiwa Savage, a male suitor gave her the car as a birthday gift but she had to return it because she wasn’t interested in dating him.

She disclosed this in a recent interview with The Beat 99.9 FM, Lagos. Tiwa Savage said:

“I once got a Range Rover for my birthday but I returned it cos I wasn’t feeling the guy. I also didn’t want to keep it because he might decide to retrieve the car if I kept snubbing his calls.”

Tiwa Savage also revealed during the interview that Nicki Minaj is the most famous person in her contact list.
