Nigerian street-hop singer Portable has officially relocated to Canada after securing a 10-year work permit.
The singer, known for his vibrant and often controversial persona, had previously announced his permit approval but remained in Nigeria for nearly three months before making the move.
Recently, Portable took to social media to announce his arrival in Canada, sharing celebratory photos and videos from a visit to the mayor’s office in Brampton, Ontario.
Accompanied by his team, he expressed his gratitude to the Canadian government and the city of Brampton for their warm welcome and support.
In his post, Portable also revealed that he received a special award from the city, describing the moment as a significant milestone in his career.
“Finally Portable Omolalomi ZAZUU in Canada. I just want to say thank you to the Canadian government and the city of Brampton for the Corporation of the City of Brampton award,” he wrote.
