Adenike Adeleke, the daughter of Governor Ademola Adeleke and cousin to singer Davido, has voiced out how people take those who are accessible for granted.
Taking to the micro-blogging platform Twitter now known as X, she noted how when shows too much love to people, they take one for granted and play them as weaklers.
“When you show too much love, they play you like you’re weak”.
The socialite seems to be defending her cousin Davido, who was called out by a Nigerian YouTuber, Korty EO. The YouTuber had expressed displeasure over how she had asked for permission to re-edit an old interview with Davido, which his team agreed to post for her. However, things did not go as planned after they reneged on their word, which prompted her to vent out on social media.
Also, popular skit maker Nasty Blaq reacted to it as he cried out over the constant disrespect to the music star. He noted how Davido just wants to help people and yet gets disrespected.
Nike’s tweet generated mixed reactions with many concurring with her, while others thought her tweet was hinting at her relationship with Young John.
