Award-winning Nigerian singer Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun professionally known as Wizkid has been criticized by some music lovers after a snippet of one of his songs dubbed “Bend” off the Morayo album surfaces online.
This comes after Wizkid made it known to all and sundry today, October 12th 2024 that his nostalgic bop dubbed “Piece of My Heart” featuring Brent Faiyaz will be released on Friday, October 18th 2024.
In the clip making the rounds online, Wizkid was in London partying with ladies when his disc jockey, DJ Tunez played the song which sends frenzy among everyone as Wizkid and all the ladies started dancing uncontrollably.
Wizkid had earlier disclosed to all and sundry that the track “Bend” off the forthcoming Morayo album is made purposefully for his female fans across the world.
The “Bend” snippet further made the rounds online today and it has generated mixed reactions. While some music lovers expressed love for the song, others expressed their utmost displeasure as they advised Wizkid to retire from singing.
