There is excitement in the air as Nigerian rapper and singer Speed Darlington has been released from police custody following arrest from music star, Burna Boy.
Tontrends reported a day back that a fan of the controversial rapper had alleged that the rapper had been missing for 3 days, and all efforts to reach him have been abortive. The source claimed that there was no confirmed reason for his disappearance but it could be a result of a video he recently made.
Tontrends later learned that Darlington was arrested and detained on Friday following a petition from Burna Boy for alleged cyberstalking. His lawyer, Deji Adeyanju said that he had seen the petition written against Darlington by Burna Boy. He stated that Speed was arrested in Lagos and taken to various formations in the state before he was taken to Abuja and detained by the IRT team, which accused him of cyberstalking Burna Boy.
Darlington’s mother, known as Queen in a video online, alleged that Burna Boy and his team were responsible for her son’s responsible. Queen narrated how her son’s gateman informed her that he was taken away by Burna Boy and his team. She begged the Grammy singer to release her son.
After spending 3 days in detention, Speed Darlington has been finally released on bail after meeting conditions stipulated by the police at the Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team’s Department in the Guzape Area of Abuja.
