In a recent interview, the Jos born star reveals why he featured Wizkid in his upcoming album, which will be released on February 28th.

According to him, “Wizkid is one of the legends of this generation. When I say legend am not referring to the legend that just any artist who produces one hit song called themselves. I called him a legend because Wizkid is a boy come up with his own special lyrics style. If you want him to give you a song that has a meaningful and relatable rhythm he will.”

“He knows the kind of songs his own generation want that’s why he sings that way (without meaningful lyrics) presently. If you listen carefully to ‘Oju Elegba’ and ‘Early 1990s’ you’ll notice that his head dey there. He’s lyrically there.

Also, he’s a boy that took Nigerian hip-hop music to the next level. That’s why I decided to do one or two tracks with him in my album,” he added.
