21 killed in Mexico bus crash

Officials have announced the crash of a tour bus and a semi-trailer on a mountain road in the Mexican state of Veracruz, on Wednesday with the bus rolling over and catching fire, killing at least 21 people and injuring 30.

Civil defense director for Nogales township, Roberto Hernández said that the bus turned onto one side causing the blocking of its exit doors.

According to authorities, both vehicles were westbound when they collided in a mountainous area known as Cumbres de Maltrata.

The report obtained initially said 20 people were killed while state civil defense director Guadalupe Osorno, later on, said that one injured person died later.
